![]() ![]() The combat missions vary from on-your-own dungeon crawls, to small party special maps, to reasonably large scale pitched battles and sieges. ![]() The story is not a classic but is well told, and pretty well voice-acted. ![]() And there is a variety of units, magic, skills and missions which keeps it fairly fresh. The individual combat is more varied and broader in scope than Mount and Blade, but the combat strategy is definitely not. I was drawn to this game as I've played a lot of the Mount and Blade games, and this seemed like it could be something similar but with a more fantasy-driven take and a stronger story. The other reviews here provide a balance of the good and not so good things about this game, but having now completed the main storyline I think it's worth a review of my own, as there is something good here for those who like what it does and have some patience. ![]()
